Our Governance
Our governing body refers to the systems and processes through which Hano Technical University is managed and controlled. The governance of Hano Technical University involves a combination of formal and informal structures and processes to ensure transparency, accountability and participation, as follows:
1. Executive Board: This is the highest level of our governing body which is responsible for setting policies and making strategic decisions
2. Chancellor: The chancellor is the chief executive officer of the university and is responsible for the overall administration and management of the institution
3. Administrative Councils: Administrative councils comprise administrators and are responsible for making recommendations on specific areas of the university, such as budget, facilities and personnel
4. Faculty Senate: The Faculty Senate represents the faculty and is responsible for making recommendations on academic policies and procedures
5. Student Government: The student government represents the students and is responsible for making recommendations on student-related issues, such as housing, tuition and extracurricular activities
6. Court: This acts as a governing body that ensures the university is operating in the best interests of all its stakeholders, including students, faculty, staff and the community it serves.
